In the 70's my mom had the coolest ceramic studio in a sweet little town.

It had metered parking spots out front. We were diligent about "feeding the meeter", to avoid the meter maid's (dressed in their classy blue uniform) ticketing our car. You could spot them from a mile away. This little lady reminded me of them.
