Peaceful Easy Feeling

I really love this painting!!
I love the tall grass in the front field, and the beautifully cut grass in the back.
I love the long path headed toward the shaded trees.
This was the last painting I did before we said goodbye to my sweet cockapoo, Miss Penny Lane.
Penny was ALWAYS by my side.
Next to the easel for every painting.
As I painted this, I imagined her running around the field, looking for bunnies.  Sniffing around and wagging her tail.  Playing like a happy puppy.

Her 12-year-old body was sick.  Nothing more we could do but honor her for being a special part of our lives.
I thanked her for staying with me so we could finish this one together.
