Snowbound

I woke up to the smell of freshly-brewed coffee and the sound of a snow plow outside on the street.  It snowed last night! 
 
AHH - I still get SO excited to wake up to a winter wonderland!
 
It reminds me of being a little kid, in my long nightgown, waking up to the fresh snow outside.  We would turn on the AM radio to KYW/1060, and listen for our school number to get called.  The announcer was lightening fast, and my brothers and I would turn up the radio loud and listen for them to call #746.

I painted this little black and white tree during our last snow day this year.  And I played this song.  A lot.  The band Steely Dan, brings back so many memories of growing up in the 70’s and 80’s.  So smooth.  So calming.  So funky.
